A quick note about me. For a starts been alive since 1973AD. Working as an Computer
Technician at University of Kalmar. Been running seti for some time now. But
only recently as we installed Citrix on a couple of computers, I have been able
to use the "unused" cputime for things like seti@home. In my case
its more like seti@university.
Interests
Being a CompTech that pretty much sums it up. Running up the setiladder. Wine
and the occasional girl :-D
Computers
Anything I can get my hands on. Right now Im running seti on around 20 Machines
. Mostly p3-500 , the quickest is an DUAL 1 Gigahertz / 1 Gig RAM server.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Been interested since the beginning of seti. Liked the thought of CPU sharing.
Being an University project and so. With no real money to gain, Its my way och
making a mark on the world. Sharing resources for a better world.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
