Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I originally heard about the SETI@home project in an article in USA Today years ago. My dad registered our home computer on Sat Jul 17 16:07:25 1999 UTC. When I got a computer of my own, I followed suit and installed the SETI@home client.

I think SETI@home is a real good idea. What better way to use the power of computers and the internet. People from around the world can come together for this cause. I don't think there is anything wrong with searching for extraterrestrial life. I don't see how it can hurt. It's a good idea, and I'm happy to be a part of it.
