I'm from the Detroit area in Michigan, and currently employeed at software developing companing that also provides consulting services and solutions industries looking to enhance the life of their equipment and asset pieces.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
"It is quite possible that life (of different forms) does exist outside earth. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about a beacon to transmit information at this time. It seems a bit presumptious to think that, if other life forms were to find our beacon, they would be the type of life form we would want to be found by.
I think this endavor is a good idea. I think that anyone searching for "absolutes" in a human envirnoment is a positive goal worth searching for.
