Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't thing that WE would find anything. Not becouse that there is no life. It's like trying to eat an apple with a spoon. Our technology is no enough developed. For us it's impressive to listen for signals from space with huge scope, but in a "bigger" world everything here is small...

I like this feeling of "comunity" here, somewhere deep inside i believe that we are not alone. After all, i wanted to use web not only for downloading mp3, but also for something useful. Just wanted to help. I've joined SETI project in january 2002.

Are we going to find something? - i don't know, but that's the reason we are here.
What would it mean to us if we found sth? - Nobody knows
If we are looking for other signals, why we don't send ours signal? If you are expecting to get an e-mail from your friend - you shold send it first....

It would be the biggest irony to be alone, at such small planet in the whole universe...
