I am a 48year old resident of Spartanburg, SC. I work as a District Manager/Lead Technician for a national cell phone/tablet/computer/game system repair company and when I get the rare chance, I try to unwind with a bit of FFXIV.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
We have no proof either way so I choose to believe that it is likely we are not alone. There are far too many other worlds in the universe for ours to be unique in having life. While it took a lot of things happening for life to begin here I find it hard to believe it would not have happened elsewhere. In time we will find out for certain and maybe we will be ready or maybe not, but to say tomorrow we will find them is naive. I am very excited about the SETI project and think that with their determination and all the home users willingness to help eventually we will find out the answer to whether or not we are alone in the universe.
