| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe that extraterrestrial life exists, although, I don't think they cruise around in spaceships. Possibilities exist, of course, but I think that if there were anything out there with capabilities or desire even, to communicate, it would have happened already. If it happened already as some people might interpret available information on earth, I don't think they would have been playing hide-n-seek. They either would have said "Hi!" and had it done with or blown up our planet for whatever reason anyone can fathom.
I agree that it would be very exciting that first contact would happen in my lifetime, and so I run SETI. Do I believe it will happen in my lifetime? Not really. |
