I am a semi-retired telecommunications technician living in northern Nevada,USA.
I am 56 years old and have three children and five grandchildren, oh and must not forget the wife. I have been into computers since the days of the first ones made for home use. I started with a two floppy, 40 meg harddrive, 64 meg ram machine and have ended up with a p11 running linux, a p111 running win98, a p111 running win2000 and my latest toy a p4 running XP.
I think Seti is a worth-while project and hope to live long enough to see some positive results.
I wonder if somewhere in the universe another people are running their own project looking for us. |

I really hope that there is other life, extraterrestrial life, otherwise it is going to be a lonely future for the human race.
