Personal background
Hi everyone, I'm from London in the UK. Married, 40 years old and three kids.
I am the Technical Supervisor for Animation at the most prestigious film school in the UK (some say Eroupe!)where i've worked for the past 13 years. I have just hit the 400 unit mark so i thought it was about time I did a profile. I am a great Science fiction fan (though not a nerd)and firmly believe in ET life.
I once saw what I thought to be a UFO while walking home from school when I was about 14. It was a clear evening and while I was spotting constellations I stopped to watch a falling star/meteorite. It fell staright down for about 30 seconds then stopped and proceeded move in a tight random pattern for a few seconds then it shot straight up at a terrific speed and faded out. I oftern wonder if this was a ship as to me it appeared the same as a star. What do you think?
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think Seti is probably our best hope to find et at the moment and the other alternative is a huge broadband becon. Trouble is, if your were ET watching our news, would you contact us? I think any message would have to be up front about our governments and ask for limited contact that did not include them. I would dearly love to see this in my lifetime but I'm not so sure.
