| Personal background |
Hello! My name is Manny. I am an IT Administrator, and I am located in San Antonio, TX. I have been a member of SETI at home for about six years now. I have dedicated all of the computers that I have built throughout this timeframe to the SETI@home project. The thought that my computer is helping us solve one of the greatest mysteries facing us keeps me and my systems going. I recently just built a 64-Bit based system, and I hope to contribute even more computing power to this project. I also finally made it to the Arecibo Dish this past year so that I could pay my respects to where the data is being gathered :)
*UPDATE*
I recently added even more computing power to my account in order to help out SETI@Home. I have built a multi-processor unit dedicated just for BOINC work units. I really am committed to this project as you can tell. I'm also working on getting a star next to my name as well :) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| SETI@home is a great project to contribute unused computer time. Keep up the great work guys, and hopefully we will all be able to fulfill our dream of hearing an Alien Voice come from the night sky :) |
