Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I doubt there are any life-forms out there capable of constructing radio telecommunications equipment. Anything is possible, however, thus I find this to be a worthwile project.

We should transmit a beacon. It will be difficult to compose a culturally unbiased message using a natural language. They wouldn't understand any of our languages anyway. A video of our planet and some images of the lifeforms on it. If possible, a warning of some sort to stay away from here, since this is a dangerous place where humans kill each other and all life forms they come in contact with, since they absolutely refuse to submit to the will of their creator and turn deaf ears to His message, which He sent to all His prophets.
