Well, I am 40 years old. Now working in India I will be here for at least a year helping a company here get our systems up and working and training the programmers here to take over most of the day to day development when I return to the US.
I have lived most of my life in Boise Idaho, with a short 8 month stay in Utah, two years in Brasil and now 4 months in New Delhi.
I have been writing programs for 23 years, longer than anyone else that I have ever worked with. I have 3.3 children the fourth arriving sometime in Febuary.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I do believe that there is extraterrestrial life, although I have my doubts about ever contacting them this way.
I participate in the Seti@home project because I control a significant number of machines that have to be on 24x7 but usually have low usage. I feel better knowing that they are engaged in a useful task.
I believe that we have a great deal to learn about shared processing and the real benefits of the Internet, Seti@home is a project that can answer a number of questions about these issues whether we actually find extraterrestrial life or not. |
