| Originally from Newfoundland, I now live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I am a "middle-aged" male, happily married with a beautiful five-year-old daughter. I work in the environmental business. I love to play guitar (have seven instruments at the moment), and also enjoy competitive pool (8-ball). I've played in organized pool leagues for abut 20 years. SETI@home appeals to me because it's such a great concept. Why not harness all that unused computing power?
It is naive to assume earth is the only place hosting intelligent life.
