I am married and father of three boys. I am retired after a long career in electronics engineering having specialized in product safety, emissions and immunity, and environmental compliance. I also donated time in my local emergency management agency for 15 years as a part time police officer reaching the rank of Senior Captain.
I can remember watching the first man land on the moon in my parents bedroom on a BW TV. Back then I thought by now I would be able to travel to orbit, (without being a millionaire) but now I can only hope my kids get the chance. Early space missions, Star Trek, and the few other SciFI shows or movies available in those days inspired me to become an electronics engineer.
Our future is out there and we must learn everything we can. Some might even say that our past is out there as well. |
