I like photography, videography, video editing, computers (hardware and software), somewhat of an audio/videophile, I like to play the drums, local travel via road-trips, history, and historical sites among other things. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Back when I was working for Sony Professional Products Company, I came across a co-worker's computer in which it was running the SETI@home screen saver. I asked about it and was intrigued at the idea of having my computer do something productive in my downtime as apposed to simply displaying graphics.
I had to give up using the screen saver when a later version would no longer download the next work packet and I would have to do so manually. It became a nuisance so I stopped. After many years away I decided to give it a try again and the latest version seemed to be performing the tasks correctly so I've started up again. |
