| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I am certian life exists beyond our system. I am also certian that we have not been visited by such life yet.
2. If other life has developed along the same line as humans, we should be extremely wary of contact. Humans are a product of a hostile and extremely competitive enviroment. As a result, humans as a race are agressive and somewhat violent when threatened. What reason is there to believe that other intelligent life would respond differently thna we would? Therefore, broadcasting our position to anyone who might be listening is potentially dangerous.
