| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, I think ET-life exists. When we discover them I tink it will probably be by SETI or maybe some huge telescope discovering a planet far from here with livingconditions similar to earths. If I get what I want, aliens will land on earth with peacefull intentions, sharing tech. and knowledge :) The benefits would then be great, giving mankind one giant leap forward. The dangers could be that however we discover aliens they are evil and presents a threat to earth. New age cults would have a field day. I also think "contact" would create instability to some religions such as Christianity. If the aliens are'nt an exakt match of our own human race God coulden't have created us as an image of himslef. If the aliens are more advanced than us, would he then have favourd them before us?
2. We have already done that so It's hard to stop :) But I think it's a good idea. If someone recieves it and sets course for earth with evil intentions, they'd probably get here by the time we are so advanced we could defend us.
