Hi everyone. My name is Jean. I have been into ETs since I was a little girl. Some 40 plus years ago. I was a faithful Treki on a black and white T.V. I think anyone who beleives there is no other form of intelligence in the universe or any other is a dumbass. I look forward to the day"my" people come to take me home to"our"planet. I was thrilled to learn I could help them find me. Ok so I have a little bit of my tongue in my cheek, not all of it though. I am not working at the present due to an injury. I need "things" to keep me occupied. This seems perfect. I can contribute to a cause I beleive in with hardly any effort, and feel a part of something bigger than me.
I am a Montana native. I live in a small town in S.central Montana. Of course all the population of the state is smaller than L.A. and probably Berkley too. That is one of the things I love about living here. Lots of open landing places. I'm single, no kids. I currently am living with my mother and that is one of the hardest things I have done as an adult. I bought the computer I am using just last month as a sanity saver. I can escape and never leave my bedroom. I like music, especially blues,rock,some metal,(Disturbed,
the sickness is a fav)classic C & W(Patsy Cline,Hank Sr.,Bob Wills),some classical Wagner,Bach, Mozart. The town I live in has a blues festival every year and special blues throuout the year. They are held at The Great Northern Depot, no longer a real depot but a culture center with historical significance to the entire state. We are proud of it. It is in the National Historic directory along with the hotel across the street.Leon Redbone will be here the 25th. Can't wait.
I guess that about sums up all I can think of to say at the moment. I'm very happy to have completed my first assignment within a day, actually less than a day. I was surprised at my ranking, I processed more in one day than 1/3 of all the users. Come on people you can do better than that! This is an important project! |

| Well I covered some of this above,but hey I'll tell ya some more. Like I said before anyone who doesn't think there are ETs is a dumbass. I like the "we"are an experiment for"them" or that is how we came to be theory. You know like the ant colony in science class 5th grade. We are the ants. I think this project is one more likely to find "them". I beleive we do transmit a signal now in hopes. Don't we? Since this has always been a favorite topic of mine I am sure I have heard we send signals. If we don't we definely should. I think Fox Mulder knows more than he is telling or is allowed to tell. Funny thing is I was serfing the FBI files just the other night and " coincidentally" kept getting kicked off the net? That is part of the deciding factor for contacting SETI. Guess I showed those Bastards huh. What should we send them? Hmmm. Hopefully something that doesn't make the whole species look like dumbasses. Content best left up to some Berkley students rather than some "guys" in D.C. If it isn't already to late. The good vs. evil question. If we allow there are other life forms, it seems to follow "they" would have superior intelligence and technology, compared to "us". Therefore it also follows that "they " could have already done any mean things they wanted to do to "us". Or will no matter what we want to do about it, unless of course H20 hurts "them" like in Signs. But I think "they" are probably more like ET and pity us or are not about harm. The benefits? Or "good" of contact the possibilities are endless. Like cancer/aids cure, no more hunger,war, need I go on? Due to higher intelligence and evolution, if you will, maybe "they" can teach"us" to play nice with each other. All of this is why I run SETI period. I would run it in multiple locations if I could. I plan on trying to persuade some freinds into running it, some coorperate servers could be used at certain work places I know of. The best suggestions I can think of right now is keep the faith. Live long and evolve. |
