Once upon a time I was a teacher. Then I decided to get a relaxing job and became a system administrator. This resulted in a transformation into a BoFH in short order. I enjoyed this for a few years, toying with people's hopes and generally ruining their days :-)
Eventually, all good things must come to an end, so I moved over to IT security. These days people pay me to ruin their days. Can't ask for more really... |

If there is extraterrestrial life out there and able to come to us I'm sure it's smart enough to stay away. On the other hand it never hurts to keep looking for another race every bit as stupid as us (just take a look at what we do to our planet and each other).
Me, I run it because it seems a shame to waste all those idle CPU cycles. |
