I was introduced to this program by a friend that is currently a member ( Oh, don't ask me his nickname cause I don't know it and I forgot to ask him...Hahaha..lol !!! ) and after doing a lot of reading, I have decided to join the crowd and become a member too.
I am a 41 y/o male and I live about 1 hour north of Philadelphia, Pa.(USA). I have been working for the last 10 years as a travel consultant for a major travel company. My hobbies are.. of course travel, photography, biking, swimming, and of course, taking Reuben (My Beagle) for a walk at the park.... but my favorite hobby is astronomy. I have been interested in this hobby since my parents gave me my very first telescope when I was about 11 years old. I didn't know what to expect until one night I saw Saturn for the first time. I will never forget that night. I thought it was an "UFO" but my mother later convinced me that it was a planet and not a "UFO". I still think about that night and sometimes I laugh about it... what a great memory.
I remember I would go outside to the back yard with my parents when ever we had the chance to look at the stars and talk about what or who else was up there.... I know they are waiting for us to make the first contact and I want to be here when that happens. |
