| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| My colleague at Sonera asked me if I would join to this "greater-than-life-mission". Of course! I do believe, that we are not the only intellectual creatures in the universe, though it´s possible, that the other civilization somewhere far from here isn´t aware of us or ahead of us. That is why we should send some probes or beacons to the space, not to Mars -´cos we know there´s no life (atleast not anymore)- but to the great unknown. Those gadgets should not only discover the universe, but also send some information about us (how?). However, I think that Seti@home is very much the answer for the question "what can I do?" =o) |
