I am a 61 year old male psychotherapist who has always loved science fiction, ham radio, and astronomy.
I am pleased to see Seti developing a sense of community on the internet. I think it is a great addition to your work, and long overdue.

| Yes of course. I believe that De Chardin's concepts of evolution make sense and that life will develop naturally on other worlds. There is always risk in exploring the unknown, but being earth agoraphobic doesn't make sense. I think we should make effort to contact other life forms, but I also think we need to be realistic. The universe is a very large place. Contact may be a very long time in the future but the strength of being human is our consciousness and our couriosity. I am part of Seti because I couldn't not be! |
