| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Like many others, it is hard to imagine we are the only living creatures in such a large universe, then again it is possible. If extraterrestrial life does exist, I think we'll discover it more likely, due to their efforts than ours.
Any such discovery would have a profound impact on the world. It would cause a re-thinking of our importance, if any, in the universe. I see no danger in discovering, we are not alone. |
