Profile: Dennis Sorensen

Personal background
Well, I am 27 years old and I have been a 'space fan' as long as I can remember.
Ever since I was 5-6 years old I have always looked up at the stars and just.. wondered.. lost myself in the stars.

I remember getting my own real telescope at the age of 14. Man, I have spend many cold nights out just gazing at the universe.

I have always been a big fan of space books. Be it astrnomy, astro-physics, space exploration or science fiction.

And I have, ofcourse, also read Contact by Carl Sagan.
A great 'what if' novel about actually getting a signal from outer space. Not to mention the great things you learn about SETI.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well, I believe that the work SETI is doing is important.
It is very possible that this will be the way we discover - that we are not alone in the universe.
And any help I can be, I am glad to !
