Worked in Electonics all my life and dreamed of the things we can do today, years ago. Started wih a computer called a bytrans 6 could do 4 problems a minute. Have always felt we can not be alone. Too many stars out there that may support life. Now at 56 years old I may help prove my thoughts.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think we should send signals of a genaric nature. Possibly like the gold record sent on early space probe. Should send mathmatic information in prime numbers that could be decoded by other life forms. Foolish to think ET would look like us. I run the seti program to help find life signs. I think this program should be supported by the government and increased in size. This is one of the few, (although we haven't found anything), that are worth spending tax dollars on and may prove to be the most productive in the future.
