Hiya, my name is 'boots'
I'm a Mechanical Engineer, born in Scotland, living in London. I am an amateur astronomer and have a keen interest in all science from biology to cosmology. I am also a keen motorcyclist and general big kid. I enjoy playing with spanners and avoiding hard work. I am married and enjoy dodging domestic responsibilities, cooking and washing up, the most. I suspect life is prevalent in the universe and would not be atall surprised if Douglas Adams's ideas were closer to the truth than we realise.
I run Seti because I would like to help. My PC is often just sitting there doing nothing and useless screensavers are pointless. I saw a TV show in the UK when seti first offered the screensaver for downloading and thought what a great and noble idea. I have run it on all my PC's ever since and will continue to do see for as long as it is available to do so. Good luck to all those working at Seti (lukky sods, wish i had such an interesting job) and lets hope ET isnt anything like the Vogons. |
