Profile: Geoff Burns

Personal background
Living in Bristol, England, since 1987. Previously in Manchester from '80, where I studied Metallurgy.
Originally from Northern Ireland.

Working for Airbus, breaking things (yes - I earn my living breaking bits of aircraft}.

Trying to cope with being 16,000 miles from the woman I love - plots afoot to find a way into NZ!!

Interests include beer (none of that lager rubbish!), good food, reading, music (have I told you about the Pornorphans? Great Finnish band - watch out for them . . .), photography. Oh, and RPGs (Flavour of the year is Vampire, the Masquerade).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Can it be possible that, given the vastness of space, there are no other races out there? I think not.

Will we ever meet? Who knows - but it's worth trying to find them.
