| I'm 49, married four adult kids, two young step-daughters and live in Altrincham, just south of Manchester UK. I work for BAE SYSTEMS as a Database Administrator for the Eurofighter Typhoon project. My hobbies include science, nature mathematics and astronomy. Others include home brewing of beer, music and theatre. I've been involved with this project since 1999 and think that it's the most constructive use of spare computing power. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

As a member of the Planetary Society I believe SETI is a wonderful concept, bringing together 3.5 million people for a common cause is no meant feat! Well done, this idea can be applied to many topics through out the world, Cancer research are doing a similar idea to model possible chemical structures for potential drugs. All of these ideas show how the world is becoming a single unit, helping all. Carl Sagan would be proud of you all at SETI.
