Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Well, for quite a while, I believed in the POSSIBILITY of extra-terrestrial life. The more I look into it, the more I study, the more I realize that, IF there is life out there, we're never going to find them, THEY'LL have to find US. In regards to topic #2- didnt we already transmit a beacon for others to find, when we sent out the Voyager Probe? Lastly, #3- I run SETI@home because even though we'll probably never find anything, at least I can say that I helped, if we do, and, that even when I'm not working, my computer is still doing something constructive. I figure any little bit helps, I might as well do what I can to help out. |
