I am 34 years old. Living in Victoria B.C. Canada.
I have been involved in computers since 1982 (WOW thats over 24 years)
Love gaming as well as almost anything to do with computer systems
There is sometimes however a need to escape form the virtual and digital world so I can often be found driving around aimlessly looking for nothing in particular, Walking around a park or camped out on a beach somewhere in the Pacific Rim :)
And NO I DO NOT BRING THE LAPTOP WITH ME !!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do belive E.T. does exist, it would be pretty closed minded to think otherwise concidering we are one planet out of trilions in the Universe.
If E.T. is discovered and is friendly and we don't screw things up in first contact and piss them off :) The benifits would be unbound in how much knowledge can be shared, Possably even the means to leave our solar system and reach beyond our Galaxy to ultimatly be what it is in our nature to be... Explorers.
As for question 2 What was The Voyager Series Deep space probes for ????
need I say more and we all know that there is a good chance that ET is watching some of our early TV shows from the 50's by now and Radio for about 20 years before that :)
I run SETI because it is my way of reaching into the stars and satisfying that explorer spirit that lives in all of us.
