Profile: Saiyaman

Personal background
I am from Massachusetts, USA. I am 15, and am currently a Junior in High School. I do quite well for myself, but should apply myself more in my studies. I am very good at any computer class, math class, and science. I am an avid anime lover. If I had the choice, I would spend all of my money on buying anime DVDs. My favorite animes are, FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, and Yu-Yu Hakusho.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that their HAS to be extraterrestrials out there. There is an absolute chance that their is life on another solar body. In our infinate universe, with the infinate number of galxies, how can we be the only planet with life on it? We will most likely discover new life on accident, while maybe trying to get resources or expand our reaches as our population grows. It could be good to find another form of intelligent life because of the incredible things we could learn from one-another. Some downfalls may be that they could spread some bacterial life to us that could destroy our entire race. We transmit more than enough beacons into space with all of our radio signals and the various satalite signals. I run SETI@home because I want to find something that will prove the sceptics wrong. My views are that enough people use this on their computers with their high-powered CPUs, we will have searched everything that we can.
