Hi, all.
I live in Carcavelos, 15 km West of Lisbon, Portugal.
I love Space, Science-fiction, DVD's (you imagine the theme...), Internet, collecting wings (1:200, 1:400 and 1:500) and radioactive materials.
My greatest wish is to have a Close Encounter of the Third Kind with a alien ship.
Meanwhile, let's help seti@home to catch a alien planet, with the help of my CPU.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I know extraterrestrial life exists. For my 48 years of life, i already saw, for 2 times, something without any explanation, both confirmed by national portuguese radio news.
I think we, for many years, were visited by alians and still are. When? They will decide when we will be prepared to "accept" them.
We could transmit basic binary code, with info about our planet, galactic position, etc.
I use my CPU time to help seti@home, to have the honour to help Earth people's dream to contact other Worlds, other civilizations. We need to "ear" that Worlds, to try to comunicate with Them.
As a suggestion, the system could accept work of several PC's, working all at the same time, with the same user. |
