Personal background
Hi. I'm 27 and I live In Mesa, Arizona. I am currently an Anthropology/Religious Studies undergraduate. I'm a Gemini/Dragon and I am quite an interesting person:) I'm very open-minded, intelligent, down-to-earth, and extremely outgoing:) I enjoy a variety of things which inclde but are not limited to Astronomy, Astrology, Tarot, reading (I especially love Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series), writing poetry, video games (RPG's such as the Final Fantasy series), music (many types) and I love theatre and cinema. I guess it would be nice to correspond with people with similar interests from any country (or planet LOL), especially Scotland, Ireland, and Egypt (I've a special place in my heart for these places!) So, drop me a line:)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
S.E.T.I. is a fabulous program! It takes some very gutsy and motivated individuals to run such a time consuming project! Not to mention, there are many ignorant and close-minded humans on our planet! It is quite silly to think that we are the ONLY intelligent life form in a universe so large! Newton, Einstein, and Galleleo were most likely from another planet! LOL J/k Seriously though, they were WAY ahead of their time even judging by today's standards!!!! If another being were to make contact with us, it could only happen if and when we are able to cast aside our petty differences for one and other and open our minds to new possiblities. Also, why the heck would someone else step in to help us preserve our natural resources when by doing so, "they" run the risk of us "sucking" theirs dry? I dunno when contact will occur but I'm more than willing to remain open about it!
