Personal background
1976

· the year of my birth in Mainz, Germany - breech presentation: I obviously wanted to say from the beginning, guys, you can kiss my *** - but they made it very hard for me to come on earth - still weeks after my birth I had big bruises on my back - plus I had a damaged hip

· during the year, my grandparents told me, I almost died of dehydration twice - I had been sick and my mother, who was only 19, couldn't cope with me - she decided not to feed me, so that I didn't suffer from diarrhea anymore - my grandparents found me and drove to the hospital with me - when I try to imagine my life as a baby I always think of the baby in the movie Train Spotting

· I was also told my mother beat me when I was a baby and cried, and she didn't know what to do

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I can imagine there is E.T. life out there. This world is so amazingly huge, and I think just judging by the possibilities, it is possible that more life apart from ours has developed. I even have beliefs in theories that say our race originally came from Mars.

I do not believe that we'd really benefit from the discovery over E.T. life, because I think the focus of life should be ourselves and our personal development. Our race will not get better as personalities keeping on fighting, waging wars, when we find other races in other galaxies. But this is what we should focus on, in my opinion.

Though I am curious to see whether we can get into contact with other species. It's just purely out of interest.
