I run Seti@Home, because I enjoy the possibility of Mankind finding a signal. The thought that we're alone in the universe is absurd. There's gotta be more life out there!
I recently upgraded my Quicksilver 2002 from a 933mhz single processor, to a Dual processor (each at 1ghz) with 2mb L3 cache/processor. That, along with an optimized BOINC client for my Mac OS, it seems to process Work Units nicely!
