Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that there is life outside our solar system. The question is are we bright enough to find it? I am not a creationist or "Intelligent Design"ist but, I do think that anyone who turns their gaze to the heavens would be crazy to think that a supreme being would lack sufficient imagination to slap together a universe in only a few thousand years. I look up and see the vastness and complexity of the universe and think that God, in his infinite wisdom, would spend 15 billion years just to keep his interest.

Based on the humans capability to understand the vastness of the universe it would be silly, in my mind, to think that God has only us to look over in this universe. I give Him credit for being able to juggle more than one form of "intelligent" life and perhaps many thousands of not so intelligent life. It will be fun to watch the scientific and religious communities when we do locate other life out there.
