--------------------

I'm a lifeless ordinary who's into computers (aren't we all). I've been using seti since June 2002 and hopefully won't ever find a reason to stop. Although my pc's aren't always online, I try to keep them chugging away (under W2K). Despite my futile efforts, I can't get it to run on my Linux box - must RTFM maybe.
Current PC's at work:

1 x AMD Duron 1.3GHz - (W2K)

1 x Intel Celeron P3 2.1GHz - (W2K)

1 x Intel P1 233MHz (Redhat 8) - (Currently not running Seti)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI@home is a rather good idea. It not only shows that there is a great belief in alien life, but that people are willing to do something about their theories. It shows great team spirit on an international scale and also reminds us of the fact that our world is so small we can't possibly be alone.
