Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes, of course. I think that they will "discover" us or let us "see" them. When? It is hard to say, probably when we will not be a menace even to ourselves. Benefits? For us, yes, for them, I wish I knew... Dangers? Our own minds, our own leaders, facing this new reality.

2. No. If they exist out there, and are more advanced, they know about us. If we send something, there should contain the following key words: "Danger, Stay out, Trespassers will be prosecuted, Radioactivity - stay out, check on us again in 100 years".

3. Leaving my own theories aside for a moment, SETI@home is a great project, and I am happy to be part of it; I want to be part of this project, I want to be a piece of this giant ear that represents us, the humanity, and I want - as much as my AMD-K6 550 carries - TO LISTEN, too. Suggestions - not right now. Let me get used to this.
