| I am a 42 year old sales rep from Sheffield, England. My wife is convinced she her family originate from outer space, as we are having difficulty in tracing her family tree, which is one of our (very) time consuming hobbies. My other hobbies include building and repairing PC's and walking our boxer dogs(See my photo), particularly in Cornwall where we try to go each year. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I cannot believe we are the only intelligent life in the universe, let alone our own galaxy. We have an obligation to others to learn about other life forms, and to ensure others do not make the same mistakes as we have in wrecking their own planets.
We should also try to encourage others to contact us to help save our own planet which we are doing our best to destroy.
In my opinion at this moment in time, Seti@home represents one of the best hopes we have of finding other intelligent life. |
