| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I believe that extraterrestrials do exist, I think it would take a mind that is closed, almost self absorbed, to believe otherwise (but that is just my opinion amongst a sea of many others who beleive they are right) . Whether life outside of earth are humanoid, or forces of energy or many other possibilities is the question left unanswered. How can we find them? We can only use the resources and technology that is in our reach to do so. This is why I think SETI and SETI@home is not a pointless effort. I do beleive that it is possible that we are currently being studied or 'visited' by unidentified objects and/or beings and for whatever the reason is, they are choosing not to make themselves openly known. And once again, we can all speculate as to why, but noone will have the answers until we have concrete evidence. |
