Personal background
I'm now 19 years old nad I'm from Jelenia Gora, Poland. I started to get interested in exterrestial life since my primary school where I tried to convince my class that we are not alone. I'm going to start some studing on College about now. I'm interested in guitar playing, music, internet(html, databases, programing in Delphi, some graphics). Oh yes, I'm a notorious player, I mean computer games(the old ones - '80, early '90). If you want more, email me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Of course, it exist. If not, it would be a totally waste of space, don't you think? I think it's not possible that only Earth has a life-suitable enviroment. I supose that we discover other life forms when we begin to travel outside Solar System in manned ships. The benefits are undefinable. The discovery can take us to Galatic Empire or it can (assuming the aliens are bad and unfriendly) destroy humans.

2. Sure, sooner we find other races sonner we will be sure about Galaxy. What we should send them? I don't know, but I think that data provided with Voyagers and Explorers (I mean this cd) is a good idea.

3. I was chating on irc with my mate from school and we talked about other races, U.F.O.'s and that stuff. Then I remebered SETI@home, went to homesite read all about it, downloaded and started searching. I'm still concern of what should I look for on charts.
