Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My formative years were filled with applied sciences. Many experiments and inventions and analyses of the physical world fueled my curiosity and some unexplainable experiences left me marveling at the possibility of space-faring civilizations with capabilities inspired by the furthest explorations of nature.

I want to participate in something great. Great in vision, great in execution. These projects are in their nascent stages and I imagine one-thousand years from now. What resides there must be a veritable wealth of harmonies great and beautiful. That is when our future generations will live and learn.

The life of our descendants crafted from the energies that we express into the world that we imagine will emerge like a fire within their force to fulfill the highest destiny of humankind.

Technology is a big part of my life and will continue to be. The digital is usurping the analog. Given a cleaner source, the digital can be environmentally friendly. Indeed, now is when one's currency and identification, creative works, documents, leisure and knowledge can be delivered completely digital.

Anthropomorphize the machine with considerations that can be manipulated by the human body and we'll have an impeccable tool to further the discovery of reality and assist the execution of ideas for human advancement.

The internet is a frontier of all kinds. An emergent fractal of human neurophysiology, a participant grid demonstrative of our novel kind of evolution and responsibility: Can the greater architecture of our collective knowledge become a dynamic intelligence and become an active consciousness?

Can we change our structures to change our evolution? I believe we can.

And the individual will be exalted for what it can become as it ever-evolves toward a unity of purpose and simplicity. Our feeling and meaningful intent give dimension to these things which we've the knowledge to co-create.

Cheers from California.
