I am currently a 21 year old Computer Science Major at East Carolina University in Greenville North Carolina. I enjoy music and amateur astronomy and have several gold fish, a cat, and two hedgehogs.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope that in my lifetime humans find scientific evidence of extraterrestrial life. I look forward to our encounters with E.T. A signal should definatly be sent out into space for others to find, but I have no idea what it should contain. Possibly an explanation of the real number system or something similar. I began running SETI@home more than two years ago after hearing about it on CNN. I figured since I'm not actively looking for E.T. then my computer should. The SETI@home project just might find E.T. for us and when that time comes I will be proud to say that I helped.
