Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that extraterrestrial life does exist somewhere in the universe, (why else would I download SETI@home :-) ) I don't think that it is very likley that we will discover ET ever, but you never know. I think that ET would probably not even be able to communicate with us. I think that ET would be so differnt from life on Earth we might not even realize when we found it.
I run SETI@home because not only can I help the search for ET, it makes one funky screen saver.
