My name is Adam Perry. I am 23 years old. I have a BM from The University of South Dakota and am currently employed in Garretson, SD as a 5-12 Band Director. I got started with SETI when I moved to college and got my first computer. I was part of it before that at my high school where I was on the tech team. We had SETI running on at least 15 computers, 10 pcs and 5 macs. I just thought I would get involved again.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am a Sci-Fi junky. I am very religious but I also believe that the gallaxy would be a huge waste of space if there was no one but us taking up space.
I think it's a brilliant idea to use personal PCs to help analyze the data. Plus I like the view when it's running.
I hope that the program doesn't slow my computer down too much like it did last time. Sapping my speed is why I gave it the boot in the first place.
