I will update this soon when I get the time the above URL has my full profile. my name is Graham Marshall and i live in a small village named Sauchie in central Scotland. i am aged 37 yrs and work for the whisky industry as a cooper. my hobbies include hill walking caravaning, camping and watching the sun go down with a wee dram and looking up to the stars and thinking ..it,s impossible to be alone….I have taken a keen interest in this subject for the best part of 25 yrs as my father used to talk to me about the mystery of the universe as a child. I had this software installed over 5 yrs ago! i got it from the pc format mag but at the time mt PC was not fast enough but now, as i have upgraded my machine and my isp is flat rate, its time to focus on this.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

1 yes of course... when and how, ..we already have but if this was made public every religion and the stability of the planet would be in jeopardy hence, the benefits and dangers would be... benefits would speak for themselves.......dangers… society is not ready for this yet.

2 yes transmit they know you are trying and are here. but for an advanced search,,,never mind the binary try and send it on a frequency we would all know and recognise,,, the water margin h2o ,,find the frequency closest to water for obvious reasons. what info would you send ?... none, just a signal will do,if it reached them then they would know of our technological advance.

3 im just starting again after a long absence...suggestions.. h2o
