I am a 35 yro paramedic firefighter that is finishing nursing school in two months. Thank goodness that is sone to be over. I live and work in Tennessee. I am using a Gateway 1.7 gig Gateway P-4.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I saw a refrence to seti@home on a news show several years ago and thought that it would be intresting to be involved with.I ruun seti because my computer just sits there and does nothing when I am not at home( besides, seti has always been a good reason to upgrade computers. "But honey, just think how much more work we could get done on seti with a faster computer". Are they out there? Probably. Will we ever discover them? Don't know there is a lot of open space to cover. Wouldn't it be terrible if we discovered life out there only to find that we are the most advanced ones in space? And last, I belive that we are transmiting lots of our own signals into space as it is.
