I´m from Germany and heard of this cool project from a magazine colled PM. I hope we all could help to win again this ocean of informations every second.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1) I think extraterrestrial life exists becouse it couldn´t be that we are the only intellygent lifes in the whole universe. I hope that i will alive the graet moment in which we here an alien radio station or sth. like this :)
But also I think that the most humans exspecally these who believe in the holy bible wont to her this. Maybe they will fight against it.
2) YES. But first we have to look that our small worl is in totally peace. The whole world should be proud of it and have to say:"Know we are ready for other, extraterrestrial life. The beacon should be:"We come in peace :)"
3) I run SETI@HOME becouse i think this is a great project and to have a chance to find live out there you need a gigant power of computers. And i want to be one of them, becouse I believe in extraterrestrial life.
