Personal background
I am a outgoing person who enjoys talking and looking after my animals and people. I am inquisitivt about extraordinary things which will land me in some trouble things. I am a trainee nurse but my secret ambition is to join ASIO or the Federal Police. I am also a thrill seeker and I love hights. I also wish to get my piolt licence one day.
I come from a small town in Victoria, Australia called Healesville otherwise known to the locals as 'Holesville'. Heaesville is in the heart of the Yarra Vally which is known for it'e vine yards and wine country. It is also a famous getaway for buisness people and tourists. Healesville Sanctuary is also famous amongst the tourists.
In my spare time I work on my half dead MX Holden or my boyfriends dead HX Holden which is a pointless waste of time. When I'm not doing that I try to go horse riding as much as possible or study for my amature radio licence. I also enjoy jogging through the forrest and camping.
My boyfriend of two years is an apprenitce electrictian and takes up any of the spare time I have left. When we are together we work in his shed rebuilding old record players and amps. Together we have over 1000 old records which are our pride and joy. Weird huh! His pet rats and sheep and my two ducks Orian and Oddysey are also my pride and joy.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I strongly believe that there is extraterrestrial life somewhere out there, but I don't humans will ever discover it, I think it will discover us first if it hasn't already done so. There are so many benifits that could be possible. We could learn so much more techonlogy than what little we do know. The only dangers of this discovery could be humans using this new technology is a bad way. I don't think we have to worry about any bad E.T's out there as I think that if they wanted to harm us in any for any reason they would have done it by now and I don't think we should worry about any kind of E.T trying top take over Earth for any reason either. It would have happened by now if it was to happen.
I think it would be a good idea to send out a beacon for others to find. It shoud tell them approx. where Earth is situated in the Galaxy (if possible) and that we are no threat.
I run SETI@home out of curiosity. Who knows, we might find something if it wants to be found. It's a stab in the dark but might be successful in the long run.
