| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

We are not alone. However we may as well be. If we get a signal chances are it will take a long time for us to communicate effectively. Our limitations, time and distances as we know will inhibit an effective dialogue. I would like to think SETI is the way for us to discover et-life and that I helped.
Benefits and dangers: we may learn something about ourselves.
A beacon why not, all avenues should be tried. Sure, make earth a lighthouse.
It would be a great achievement just find out we are not alone. The project is a noble cause and its fun to feel part of it, besides, cycles unused are cycles wasted.
