Profile: Scotticus Phillipidae

Personal background
I am Scotticus.

I am not Scotticus.

SETI@home is my obsession, and has cost me a great deal of study time while I try to keep old and worthless computers searching for aliens. I think we have a perfect zero percent chance to find anything with the current state of the search, but that's certainly no reason not to be searching. Indeed, that's the very reason to BE searching. We must generate interest, so that more refined and robust measures are developed to discover ET. Think of the potential scientific advancement that could result, if only we can maintain our focus.

I don't participate for this search. I participate for all the searches yet to come.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm disappointed that my current rate of completion won't put me above 5000 work units by 01 March 2002. I'm eager for SETI@home 2, however, and plan to jump on that bus as soon as it opens (if it's still being considered).

This isn't about discovering ET, it's about publicizing it. Grays killed Kennedy. Our involvment in Vietnam was pushed for by the Grays. Grays advised Nixon to resign. Grays gave Raegan Alzheimer's. Grays destroyed Challenger for its secret military mission.

We search to bring an end to the lies.
